Welcome to The Lighthouse of Alexandria 

1. Make sure you have paper and something to write with to record your findings and thoughts.

2. Watch the first 7 minutes of the video and then skip to hour 1, minute 22 and 17 seconds and stop at the end of the video.

3. Once your group has finished watching the section corresponding to your wonder answer the following questions:

-What was the purpose of this wonder?

-How was it built?

-What happened to it?

-One interesting fact you found (each team member should have one)

4. If additional resources are needed, to answer the questions, look at the materials in the travel vault. 

​

5. Collaborate, as a group, to place all your findings, including the answers to the questions, on your poster paper. 

 

8. Once your team has finished the poster, find Ms. Ulloa, who will give your team the building materials and start to build a replica of your Ancient Wonder. 

 

9. Once you have completed all the tasks you may put your chrome book away, return books and illustrations and left over building materials to Ms. Ulloa. 

 

10. Return to your group tables and be ready, with all materials (poster and replica) to present.
