This lesson was created with the purpose of helping students learn about he 7 Ancient Wonders of the World. The students will learn, by time traveling, about the purpose, the methods for building and how each wonder was destroyed. The students will present their learning and understanding of the information by creating posters, oral presentation and physical replicas of the Ancient Wonder that they are assigned. The students will walk away thinking of ways they can help future time travelers learn about The 7 Modern Wonders of the World.

Objectives:
Students will learn the purpose, methods of building and reasons for collapsing of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World.

Students will think of way that they can help preserve the memory of the current modern wonders of the world for future time travelers.

Learners:
This lesson was created for a 5th grade class and it would fall under the Social Studies subject. This lesson could also be used under science for the engineering of the replicas. The lesson is fairly independent and students will demonstrate their understanding in a variety of ways. By asking the students to demonstrate their understanding in a variety of ways, as the teacher I will be able to assess the depth of their understanding.

7 Chrome books (one for each group)
-
7 containers (boxes) to hold the additional resources the student may need to complete their research
-
7 containers (boxes) with materials such as toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, some greenery, paint, paintbrushes, different types of fabrics, paper(stock paper, tissue paper, bottle caps, etc) to complete their replicas
-
Poster paper

Conclusion:
As the students walk away from this lesson they should think as we head into the future, about todays 7 Modern Wonders of the World and how one day those could also disappear and they will be considered Ancient Wonders, just like the ones they explored, in this lesson. What can they do to preserve the memory of those wonders? How could they help our future time travelers in their search to find answers of our current 7 Modern Wonders of the World?
